Solving Google Chrome's secret service operation error message in Ubuntu Linux

Overview
If you are not using GNOME in Linux, you will probably see the following error message when trying to launch Google Chrome.
$ google-chrome
Gkr-Message: 19:01:13.179: secret service operation failed: The name org.freedesktop.secrets was not provided by any .service files
Solution
Install the package gnome-keyring
to solve the above error no matter
which graphical desktop environment you are using (KDE, XFCE4, etc).
sudo apt install gnome-keyring
Now Chrome should start without problems.
